American Idol Season 7's First Shocker

After the inspiring Idol Gives Back, American Idol producers did not hesitate to kick out one of its Top 8 contestants in the results show last Thursday. Everybody thought it was Carly Smithson's time to go home after singing a supposedly inspiring but turned out to be an angry song "The Show Must Go On". Although the show revealed that it was her (Carly), Syesha Mercado, and Michael Johns who are the part of the bottom three, everybody was is great shock when they kicked the soul/rock singer from Perth, Michael Johns out of the contest. I myself even thought that it was Carly's time to go home, but it did not happen.

Paula Abdul, one of the show's judges, was in great shock and can't speak when asked about her thoughts about the elimination. Even Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson were at a loss of words. The remaining idols themselves were surprised to see Michael Johns being booted out. As many of us know, Michael Johns was one of the contestants who were praised by both the judges and Dolly Parton. He's got the talent, the looks, the fans, and all. That's why it remains to be a question as to why he's been ousted from the competition. After more than 31 million votes being casted after the live performances, was it really Michael Johns who got the lowest number of votes? That remains to be an intrigue. Well, if it was really the truth, I am dead sure that America has got it all wrong. I know it's not close to possible that Michael Johns would beat the likes of the Davids in show and win the American Idol 7 crown, but, I didn't expect that he'll go home as early as now. It's a shocker. It really is.

Even if Michael Johns and Ramiele Malubay has been cut short in this competition, I will still continue to watch the program and watch out for this season' winner. Brooke White, Carly Smithson, Syesha Mercado, and David Cook are still there..that's why I am still watching the show.

Fool's Gold

I am actually watching a movie right at this very moment.. Oh lo. How I love this windows thing..lol.. It's hard for me to sleep again.. even if my body's so tired and I feel a little bit sick, but still I can't afford to sleep. This is really bad.. I think I need to see the family doctor......(DO we have ONE??)

So..I'm trying to watch a movie right now and blog at the same time. This is the first time I did this, and I am liking it!

Al asked me to go with her and her brother (plus another friend) to Isla Reta tomorrow.. hhmm.. Sounds so fun since I am really looking forward to a day in the beach. I love going to Isla Reta too. It's not too crowdy, it's clean, it's refreshing to be there. I am just so excited!

Pictures will be shown tomorrow..

When Insomnia Attacks

I have been so stressed out lately. This is because of the many thoughts that arrived in my mind last week that made me feel so anxious. One thing that stressed me out was the event on April 1 where all of us (AI fans) were waiting for the Dolly Parton week...April 2 was another stressful day because it is the results show on who's going home.. Ramiele, my bet for this AI season, has been eliminated. This fact made me unproductive for about two days straight...Until now, I still don't want to work.. I just want to sleep or chill out.

It's past 1am here now but I still don't have the urge to sleep...Good thing I have found the solution for me to be able to relax.. I have just downloaded the songs done by the AI contestants, and of course, Ramiele's. So here's my list of downloaded songs..

You're So Vain - Brooke White
Let it Be - Brooke White
Long and Winding Road - David Archuletta
I should have known Better - Ramiele Malubay
Alone - Ramiele Malubay
In My Life - Ramiele Malubay
Against All Odds - Ramiele Malubay
Don't Leave me This Way - Ramiele Malubay
You Don't have to Say You Love Me - Ramiele Malubay
Billie Jean - David Cook
Yesterday - Syesha Mercado
Hallelujah - Jason Castro

Their songs are just so good to be listened to. I hope you'd get yours too.

What you can do to Support Ramiele Malubay?

I have decided to post my CAMPAIGN FOR RAMIELE here.

Here's what you can do for her..

For the US Citizens:

You can vote through your AT&T mobile phones and landlines. Call-in votes are toll free so that won't be a huge problem.

If you own any business establishment, you may have phone greetings like the one in Goldilocks which says.. "Ramiele Malubay is our favorite American Idol, please vote for her, This is ______ from ______, May I help you?" The US Goldilocks also wears pin badges which says "VOTE RELENTLESSLY FOR RAMIELE ON AMERICAN IDOL".

BUY her Itunes SINGLES and VIDEOS. Each iTune Song cost $0.99 and the Video costs $1.99. You can use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Paypal accounts for faster transactions.

For People in Japan, Sweden, and other European Countries:

Since you can't vote for her (as much as you want to), what you can do is e-mail, call or text your friends and relatives living in the US to do that for you. Every vote counts.

Buy her iTunes SINGLES and VIDEOS too. I have heard that you can actually download her songs and videos from iTunes only if you own VISA and other international credit cards.

For Filipinos living in the Philippines:

Participate in the Ramiele.com Forum. Get involved.

Buy her iTunes song and videos. We can ask JSZ and Arlene to buy a gift certificate for us. You only need about $10 to get all her songs lined up in your iPods and PCs. $10 is only Php410. Skip watching a movie, eating at Mcdo, and visiting Worlds of Fun this week. This is a lot of sacrifice for you and me, but honestly, if it is for Ramiele our very own kababayan--IT IS ALL WORTH IT!

Place the badges we made for her in your websites and blogs. For the badges, check Regine's badges and codes in the forum. Regine is from the Philippines like us.

Post comments for Ramiele in Youtube, American Idol forums, and anywhere.

With all this, I know Ramiele can always sit safe on those couches.

Ramiele Malubay is my Favorite American Idol

It has been two weeks since I have started joining Ramiele Malubay's support team! We're always online in her official site which is w w w. Ramiele . c o m .. If you are a fan, why not visit it now! Anyway, I never have been so involved in any support team for a celebrity-reality TV contestant before! I have never also been so supportive for a somebody I barely know too. But that part of me changed when Ramiele Malubay stepped foot in American Idol.

As an active member of her official site's forums, we think and develop different ways on how to promote her iTunes singles and how to get the US people to vote for her every week. It's a nonstop business which makes us all so nervous every Tuesday night (US time) and Wednesday Morning (Philippines Time) and Wednesday Night (US Time) and Thursday Morning (Phils. Time). But all the worries and anxieties are gone after Ramiele's performance. One of the most popular ones in the forum are Arelene and JSZ. They do not just buy the iTunes singles and vote, they crazily buy her iTunes singles like a thousand times and vote for her more than a thousand times too through AT&T and call-in voting. That is what we call RELENTLESS support. I bet they've got some cash advance to help them out in their expenditures. They said it's really cool to have a really handy cash outsource plan. According to them, the best thing about the cash outsource website too is that it doesn't get you burried with all the high interest rates. With that, I am wishing to experience that too. :) Because we Filipinos cannot buy the iTunes singles (and that fact really sucks) we need to fill in our Paypal accounts with a 20-dollar credit, send it to one of them, so that we can buy our must-have Ramiele iTunes.

GreenBox, green bucks

As you all know, I am working as a tutor in Greenbox Tutorials Center. My bosses Morris and Melon are still a young couple. They great in business ventures and coming up ideas in which they can benefit as a family. They are done with networking and selling food supplements and coffee, done with selling life and family insurance plans, and done with real estate. Their new venture now is having Trade Show Exbihits. Since Melon's brother has a booth and sound system rental business, they agreed to be business partners. Morris and Melon will be the show and exhibit organizers. Last March 1-16, 2008, they have made the CyberHub of Gaisano South Mall an avenue for a baratillo and garage sale! Per booth rental costs Php250, Php330, and Php400 a day. For the booths that costs Php400, it is placed in the front area just right after the entrance door towards the cyberhub. Php330 are booths that are in the middle, and Php250 are in the sides and in the back. Each booth has a table complete with table covers or table cloth, a chair and two more display tables and an adjustable shelf. Each booth has a dimension of 2.5x2.5 meters. Two of my co-tutors at greenbox participated the event. They had a garage sale, selling all that they can, invited their other friends to place in their goods, etc. On their first day, they sold out already half of their items and covered the whole 16-day booth rental. With that, I can really say that people are buying their stuff and it's not a waste of time and effort. The other booths were displaying many other items such as books, tools, techy stuffs and gadgets, tiles and flooring, and many more! As I have observed, many of their sellers and clients have been satisfied with the quality of the booths, with how good the place was to display their items, with how well people reacted to the displays, and how fast, reliable and how good the service was. Both the buyers and sellers are happy. So I guess, the event was a successful one!

Maybe next time I am joining their event--I can invite other friends as well.

I'm so hungry

It's only 1:28am and I am already dreaming about breakfast. I can't sleep because my tummy keeps on asking for food. I can't go out of my room either for I am quite afraid of dark still. LOL. Don't you ever put a funny face on me--even I'm almost 22 years old, I still am scared of some mu-mus out there. Gee. This is so embarassing and so personal for me to tell--but I have blurted it out anyway.

I am just so hungry that all I can think about is food. Of course--what else will I be thinking about??

I'm thinking of eating Greenwich latest pizza (thrice the toppings)..Also, I am thinking about having a cheeseburger and fries from McDonald's.

What I ate yesterday..March 11.

For breakfast, I had a plate of rice and corned beef. I don't drink milk because of my lactose intolerance..so I just had a glass of water--fresh from the gripo.

I can't remember if I had eaten any lunch......maybe I did not..

Before going to work (Greenbox), I stopped over McDonald's to eat. haha.. I had a very unforgettable experience before reaching McDonald's yesterday. Here it goes.... I was stranggled by the wires of my mp3 earphones..so I got busy "unstranggling" myself while walking towards McDo.. of course I was looking downwards and not to the direction I am going... so.. the moment I held my head up, I got myself banged in the store's drivethrough signpost and shouted "ARAY!"..It was so loud that a crew from the store saw me..She was actually holding her giggles and I can't help but look down and continue from walking. I was going as if nothing happened until that crew looked at me in the eye and winked. It was so embarassing. I ordered my snack..ate up.. and headed for work..oh Lord.

After greenbox, I went to NCCC Mall to get something for Kyung Sun (a tutee of mine from GB). I went to the grocery food shops and bought myself a regular sized iced tea. I went home afterwards.

At home.... there's no food prepared yet so I waited for the food to be served.

For dinner we had fried fish (to get rid of my chicken allergies) and vegetables.

The end.

Now tell me......I have all the reasons to be hungry, haven't I?Tongue

Got to do it

I noticed that many free blog hosting sites are banning some of their members, and sadly, including their blogs because of "violating" some of its rules. Also, google also have been so strict with its rules lately that they were lowering the page ranking of every website they come across which violates some of their rules. At some point, I don't like what google is doing, but in some point, I am. Since free blogging should not be something like a copy-paste hobby, but it should be a way of expressing oneself. Anyway, after I am getting my paycheck on the 15th of March, I am planning to purchase my own website. A friend of mine who is in blogging business keeps on telling me to buy my own website and web hosting since they are just so cheap. Yes, really. web hosting now has gone so cheap and affordable for those who want to publish their own websites. At kaushalsheth.com, they have listed web hosting tips so that people will be educated . Also, there are lots of web hosting companies such as godaddy.com too. In our youth group, we had the web hosting on network solutions. There are two things I like best about having my own web domain. First, you don't have to worry if you will get banned by the owner of the free blogging website. Second, if google penalizes your website, you can actually remake it or modify it to be able to gain that page rank again. Plus, in having your own website, you can avail of more than 20 subdomains and unlimited subfolders in it. That will make you get thrilled with blogging.

Game!

I thought the day would be as boring and dragging as the past days have gone by. Not until have I gone into the game of slots after reading the reviews in some online slots website. Playing the game, even if it's only virtual reality, but still you can really feel the vibe and the drive that the game will take you. In many arcades here in our place, some slots machines give you the chance to win one of those stuffed toys, and some, they give out those yummy candy and chocolate bars. As a kid, I have spent more than my month's allowance just by playing slots. Even if I won just a few times, but still, the fun that it gives me is more than just by the prices. So, when I first got in into this website, I noticed that it has lined up many of the best online casino games there are! Since the softwares has been rated by both the editor and the players, I feel assured that anybody who joins the game will feel secured. Plus, the maximum bonuses ranges from $100-$500-- not so bad, eh? Not only that, it allows US players to play the game.I learned that online casino games and even online slot machine games have very strict rules. Each player will be well identified so that there will be security and fairness to both the other players and the website too. In this way, they can always assure maximum security and fairness to all players. Minors are, of course, not allowed to play. Only those who are in legal age and has a credit card can avail of all the promos given by the softwares. No more no less. Play all the way and win as much as you can. Good luck.

Site Ranking:
Informative to the Users - 3/3
User Friendly - 3/3
Layout and Design - 2/3
Security - 3/3
